Three armed intruders robbed a man in his Soshanguve home and fled with his car, police said on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena said the man was asleep on Sunday when he heard a noise outside.
“He checked through the window what was going on and he saw three armed men in his yard. They pointed guns at him and ordered him to lay down while they broke the door and gained access to the house,” said Mangena.
“The suspects tied up the victim and demanded money from him and while they searched his house, they managed to take a DVD player, two cellphones and R100 in cash. They got the keys of the man’s white Toyota Corolla (DF 72 NY GP) and fled in the car.”
No arrests had been made and the police were investigating.
