BREAKING NEWS: Woman tied on bed during robbery
A 22-year-old woman was overpowered and tied up on her bed by two men in her house in Pretoria North on Wednesday afternoon.
Two men overpowered a woman at her house in Pretoria North on Wednesday afternoon and tied her to her own bed.
Police spokesperson Captain Riana van Aarde said the 22 year-old woman was accosted by her gardener and another man in Station Street.
“The gardener lured the woman out of the house by asking her to move her vehicle. When she stepped outside the two men overpowered her and forced her back into the house,” Van Aarde said.
She said the two men tied her to the bed before they ransacked the house.
They took her car keys and a cellphone before fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle.
Van Aarde said the woman was not injured, but suffered severe trauma.
She urged anyone with more information about the robbery to call the police.
