Police still on a man hunt for three alleged rapists
The Soshanguve police urges the community to help them find the three men who allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl in March.
The police are still looking for three rape suspects who allegedly raped a 12-year-old in Soshanguve, Extension 4, police said recently.
Spokesperson Warrant Officer Mathews Nkoadi said the three suspects that raped and assaulted a young girl are still on the run and police urge residents to help them find them.
“Earlier this year on 3 March at about 19:00, a 12-year-old was walking home from a friend’s house when she was approached by three men. One of the men pointed a firearm at her and forced her to enter a tavern with them, from there they dragged her to a certain RDP house in the vicinity where all three men raped her,” he said.
“She was raped and assaulted until the next morning. The suspects are between the ages of 23 and 34. One of them is known as Thabo Petrus Malesa aka ‘Kokobela’, who also happens to be a prison convict,” Nkoadi said.
Anyone with information leading to the arrest of said men is requested to contact the Crime Stop Number 08600-10111 or SMS 32211.
