Junior softball league shapes up for new season
Pretoria schools play Softball friendly matches before the start of the league.
More than 20 schools across Pretoria took part in softball friendly matches at the Sonitus school in East Lynn. The friendly matches were played on Saturday with 15 primary and seven secondary schools.
“This was the 22nd annual softball match the school has hosted. During the league we will also have mini softball for children under the age of 10,” said Adele Kemp, deputy principal of Sonitus.
The softball league will hit off on Thursday, 30 July and end in September. The winners will take part in the Gauteng league in October.
