Spar Women’s Challenge Pretoria a raging success
Rekord attended the Spar Women's Challenge in Centurion today. What a fun and sunny day for everybody.
The year’s biggest road race is finally here. The Spar Women’s Challenge is probably the most popular and inclusive road race in South Africa, attracting the country’s top professional female athletes and thousands of recreational runners.
Hosted at Centurion SuperSport Park, one can clearly feel the surge of energy as you enter the gates and see thousands of women – pretty in pink – participating in support of numerous charities across South Africa.
Every year, the SPAR Women’s Challenge Pretoria is given a theme that highlights the power and ability that every woman has to make a difference. The race theme for 2015 is #SteppingFor.
Rekord is proud to say that we too have a few fierce females attending the race today, taking on a staggering 10km.
