Faulty substation sparks unrest
Tempers ran high in Loate, Wintervelt on Tuesday after a faulty substation left residents without power.
A faulty substation in Loate, Wintervelt, close to Soshanguve, that left residents without power on Tuesday evening is believed to have sparked outrage throughout the community.
Yusuf Abramjee from Crime Line announced on his Twitter page that an electrical substation exploded in Soshanguve.
“Angry residents took to the streets damaging property,” he said.
Police could not yet provide any information about the situation in the area.
