Victim dies as net closes in on gang
One of the victims injured during an armed robbery at Soshanguve Plaza in July has died as the net closes in on the armed robbers.

The Hawks are closing in on the rest of the criminals behind the armed robbery at a social grants paypoint at the Soshanguve Plaza on 1 July.
This comes after it was confirmed that one of the victims injured during the robbery had died from the injuries she sustained.
Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the elderly woman had been admitted to hospital several times after the shooting.
She was one of at least 12 people wounded during the robbery, including two security guards.
“A disabled man was shot in the back and others had leg and hip wounds,” he said.
Brigadier Mulaudzi said four of the suspects had been arrested and the net was closing in fast on the rest of the gang believed to be more than 10 in total.
The four appeared for the second time in the Soshanguve Magistrate’s Court last Friday, and the case was postponed to Friday 18 September, when they were expected to apply for bail.
The four Jerome Komane (31), William Magaledisa (46) Steven Malajie (27) and Thapelo Maimane (28) will undergo an identity parade on Thursday, said Mulaudzi.
Mulaudzi said the investigating team had informed the victims about the arrest of the four.
