Four busted over stolen cables
Four men have been found in possession of City Power-branded copper cables worth millions.

Four Zimbabwean nationals have been caught with stolen copper cables worth millions of rands in Midrand, the Hawks said.
Spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said this happened on a smallholding in Randjesfontein on Monday afternoon.
“The men were in the process of stripping the cables when the Hawks made the bust.”
The branding on the copper revealed that the cables were stolen from Johannesburg City Power.
Hawks found fraudulent invoices falsely issued with the letterhead of Johannesburg City Power.
The four men allegedly made their clients believe that they were sub-contracted by City Power to sell the copper cables.
The four men, twin brothers and two accomplices aged between 26 and 35, would appear in the Midrand Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, facing charges of possession of stolen copper cables.
