Man held after robbery
A man was arrested after a business robbery on Charlotte Maxeke on Wednesday night.

A man was arrested after a business robbery on Charlotte Maxeke Street in Pretoria West on Wednesday night.
Wierdabrug police spokesperson Captain Agnes Huma said the shop owner reported that a man entered the shop around 18:00 and asked about the price of certain items.
“Two other men entered the shop. One of them pointed a knife at the owner and ordered him to lie down” said Huma.
The three men took cash and cigarettes of about R 4000 and ran out of the shop said Huma.
One of the men was caught near the shop on Charlotte Maxeke when he was identified by the shop owner and taken to the Pretoria West police station.
“A business robbery docket was opened.”
“The man will appear at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Huma
