Four try to steal cigarette van
Four men in a white Audi attempted to rob a delivery van on the Old Johannesburg Road on Wednesday.

Four men tried to steal a cigarette delivery van in Centurion on Wednesday.
Centurion Concerned Citizens chairperson Hannes du Buisson said this happened in The Reeds on the corner of Panorama and Old Johannesburg roads.
He said the four men were in a white Audi.
“Shots were fired but it is not clear who opened fire. A police helicopter landed on the scene.”
The delivery van crashed into a nearby palisade fence and the would-be robbers ran away.
Du Buisson said: “Three of the men are believed to have found another form of transport while the other man ran into a nearby suburb.”
Police could not be reached for comment immediately.
