Police on the hunt after Danville shootout
One man is at large while three were arrested after a shootout near a high school in Danville on Wednesday.

Police have launched a hunt for a man after three of his accomplices were arrested when a shootout ensued near Elandspoort High School in Danville on Wednesday night.
Police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe said this came after a house robbery was reported in the area around 19h00.
“Pretoria west police immediately responded and spotted a white Volkswagen Golf that was used in the crime and a chase ensued.”
She said the men fired shots at police.
“Police returned fire and the suspects’ car lost control and hit a tree.”
One of the men fled by foot while three were arrested.
Two firearms and stolen property were recovered, she said.
“A police helicopter is still searching for the fourth suspect. One suspect was shot in the hand but no police were injured.”
