Two arrested for attempted business burglary
Police arrest two attempted business burglars in Hercules on Tuesday.
Two men were caught red-handed with a crowbar trying to rob a business in Hercules.
The men were apparently found on top the roof of a business in Van der Hoff Road on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Captain Bonginkosi Msimango said the men between the ages of 26 and 27 were arrested.
“Police on sector patrol were called out to the business after two men were seen on the roof.”
He said when police arrived at the scene they found the men in possession of a crowbar.
The men were detained at the Hercules police station.
Msimango said the men would appear in court soon.
“We want to thank residents for their help. We appreciate the efforts they make to keep criminals out of society,” said Msimango.
