Police have opened a docket for murder after a man was stabbed early Friday morning at Thaba Tshwane after a scuffle with his friend.
Central police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe said the three men were headed toward the Thaba Tshwane Training camp from Pretoria central.
“The deceased and his friend began arguing,” Selepe said.
“The third friend managed to defuse the argument and escorted the two men to their rooms.”
Selepe said the man was later woken up by the deceased before his death, telling him he had been stabbed.
“The man was rushed to hospital and later died. A case of murder has been opened,” said Selepe.
