Genitalia cutting accused to know his fate
Phuti Malema will hear judgement on Monday for cutting his wife's genitals in 2014.

A Hammanskraal man accused of cutting his wife’s genitals would hear his fate on Monday at the Moretele Magistrate’s Court.
Judge Eddie Humphreys was expected to hand down judgement.
Phuti Malema (34) faces charges of assault and attempted murder.
He is accused of mutilating his wife, Mapula’s genitals with a knife in 2014.
In July, police spokesperson Warrant Officer Herman Moremi said Malema attacked his wife in front on their children because he believed she was cheating on him.
Malema pleaded guilty, but denied the knife he used was the one presented in court.
Moremi said the police officers who were at the scene after the attack confirmed to the court that the knife they picked up from the scene was the exhibit presented to court.
