Needy kids entertained at Laerskool Derdepoort

Villeria CPF organises an event to cheer up needy kids in the community.

Needy kids had something to smile about on Saturday at the Jalette Stynberg Children’s Day in East Lynne.

Secretary of Sector 3 Villeria Community Policing Forum (CPF), Bernice Hewitt said Jalette Stynberg Children’s Day was an annual event organised for children who are on the school feeding scheme.

A total of 150 children from Lindopark Primary School as well as Laerskool Derdepoort were the beneficiaries of this special day.

“This event is sponsored and supported by people who have interest in the upliftment of the community,” said Bernice.

She said the kids were treated to a quality breakfast, lunch, and some entertainment.

Drag racers did their part to amuse the children.
