Gauteng Traffic Police’s high speed unit stopped another speedster in his tracks.
A driver speeding at 200km per hour in a 100km per hour zone was arrested on the N14, Jean Avenue, Centurion.
Since the beginning of the month more than 120 motorists have been arrested for speeding.
“It is a promise that we will arrest more drivers not adhering to the rules of the road,” spokesperson for Gauteng Traffic Police, Busaphi Nxumalo, said previously.
Three other drivers were arrested earlier this week for speeding.
Two drag racers and a woman caught speeding whilst talking on her phone, were charged with reckless and negligent driving.
