Man nabbed after attempted cellphone theft
A man was caught attempting to steal a cellphone at The Mall@Reds on Wednesday afternoon.

A man was arrested at The Mall@Reds after attempting to steal a woman’s cellphone out of her purse on Wednesday afternoon.
OrangeFox security’s general manager Andre Hill said around 18:00, a man followed a woman at the mall.
As the woman was distracted the man reached inside the woman’s bag taking the cellphone.
Hill said the woman screamed at the thieving man.
One of OrangeFox’s officers who was close by apprehended the perpetrator.
Hills said the man is still at the mall’s holding cells.
He said the woman would later take legal action against the man.
