NATIONAL NEWS: 13 people lose their cars at Mall of Africa
Forgetfulness has resulted in people reporting their cars stolen, according to Metro police.
Social media has been abuzz with cases of people reporting their cars stolen at the Mall of Africa’s grand opening on 28 April, Midrand Reporter reports.
Edna Mamonyane, the spokesperson for the Johannesburg Metro Police Department, confirmed that they had received 17 stolen car reports at the mall on the day. However, upon investigation, they found that only four were genuinely missing.
