Cassper woos Pretoria fans
Hip-hop star Cassper Nyovest performed at 012Central and launched his cellphone, AG#Hashtag.

The hip-hop sensation performed hits such as Doc Shebelelza while launching his cellphone, AG#Hashtag.
Malawi’s dance hall kingpin Gemini Major, along with Tshego and Nadia Nakai opened for the prince of hip-hop.
The performance was part of Nyovest’s Refiloe album tour, which he plans to do throughout the country.
Cassper had a dance-off with local majaivanas (street dancers) on stage and won the dance battle and asked fans to join him on stage and sing with him.
“Cassper is the best! There is no one (on the hop-hop scene) like him. I am happy that he came to entertain us,” said Percy Mvulane, a fan.
An audience member, Nono Selemela, said: “I am happy to be here to witness my favourite musician who is taking South Africa’s name to the world stage. He has done well for himself.”
Cassper said he was planning on taking the tour and cellphone launch to a township in Pretoria.
“I want to have the next tour and launch in a township but I will announce which one soon.”
