DA still in the lead, but only just
The DA still in the lead in Tshwane as counting continues at the Tshwane Events Centre.

The DA was by midday still leading the ANC by a slim margin in the Tshwane local government election results.
The main opposition party was sitting at 43.62% of the vote with the incumbent ANC at 42.26%. The EFF was in the position of a potential kingmaker with 10.2% of the overall vote in the metro.
The ANC seemed to be picking up more votes as the counting continued, having grown its support from just above 39 percent to 42.26 in the two hours until 15:00.
By that time, about 48 percent of the vote had been counted.
The DA was also ahead in Johannesburg with 43.31% of the vote and ANC trailing with 40.94% of the overall vote.
