Has Gospel Skouspel come to end?
Organisers of Gospel Skouspel concert do not come up clear about a future of their concert.
It is uncertain whether the Tygerberg FM will continue hosting a massive Gospel Skouspel concerts despite its tremendous success.
Tygerberg revealed this in a statement sent to Rekord just before the 10th music concert started at Moreleta Park Church in the east of Pretoria on Saturday. More than 6 500 people attended the concert.
“Is this going to be the last Gospel Skouspel? Hopefully not, but there are not clarity about it yet,” Tygerberg said in a statement.
CEO of Tygerberg Hardus Zevenster said the overwhelming response from the audience and needs of the artists would be taken into consideration when the decision to determine the future of the show is taken.
Line-up of the artists who participated at the show included Juanita du Plessis, Elvis Blue, Joe Niemand, Retief Burger, Corlea, Henry Pike, Loyiso Bala, Kriss Tel, Stass, Manne wat Glo, Neville D and Rouchelle Liedemann.
The 2016 event, which marks the 10th year of existence, will also take place at the Grand Arena in Cape Town on 2 September.
