“Missing” man (38) was arrested for drug possession

The 38-year-old man who was reported missing in Villeria on Sunday had been arrested in the Moot for drug possession.

The 38-year-old reported missing in Villeria on Sunday has been “found”.

It turns out “the missing man” had in fact been arrested for drug possession by the Moot Police earlier on the day.

Fransciois Bernadus Knoetze was reported missing on Pink Ladies’ Facebook page saying he’d last been seen driving a silver VW Polo 1.6.

Moot police spokesperson Captain Anton Breedt said: “He was arrested on Sunday, and appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday.”

He could not provide more details on the court appearance at the time of going to print.
