Happy Spurs beat Mahube Stars 3-2 in the dying minutes of the Super League game at Muckleneuk sports ground in Mamelodi West on Sunday.
Melusi Sibande broke the 2-2 deadlock in the 86th minute from a free kick spot to give his side a deserved victory.
The win did not come as a surprise since Spurs displayed dedication and hunger for a victory from the first half.

The home side opened the scoring in the 25th minute, thanks to Jeffrey Baloyi’s grass-cutter after a well-placed Collins Masombuka’s through pass from the left wing.
Stars however, were not ready to give up without a fight and retaliated with an equaliser in the 42nd minute, thanks to Palendi Chuene.
He brilliantly finished into the bottom left of the woodwork from Bongani Moloko’s corner kick to end the first half 1-1.

The home side came back in full force in the second half and attacked from all directions.
Kabelo Madonsela found Baloyi with a pass.
Baloyi beat two Stars defenders before firing another grass-cutter past the goalie to reestablish his team’s lead in the 70th minute.
But Spurs contrived to let Stars back in when Demond Lebelo put the ball in his own net 10 minutes later for a 2-2 scoreline.

Lebelo’s mistimed clearance past his keeper led to frustration from the fans, but he quickly recovered with the winning strike.
It is unclear which teams Spurs and Stars face in their next games as fixtures have yet to be released.
