United sink Temba in Mamelodi West
Sampdoria United beat FC Temba 3-1 in the South African Breweries league on Sunday.
Sampdoria United defeated FC Temba 3-1 in a sizzling SA Breweries league game at Muckleneuk sports ground, Mamelodi West, on Sunday.

Thabang Mahlangu, Kgonego Nukeri and Allie Tema’s goals helped United win the encounter while Itumeleng Tifo scored Temba’s single goal.
United showed determination to earn the three points from the beginning putting the visitors under pressure and creating several goal-scoring opportunities.
In the 26th minute, the continuous attacking paid off as United took lead through Mahlangu, who finished brilliantly from a Gontse Malokane’s corner-kick.
Nukeri extended the lead with a grass cutter 12 minutes later after playing brilliant one-touch football with Muziwenhlanhla Thobela and Romeo Masombuka.

But the visitors were not ready to give up without a fight and retaliated with a goal in the 42nd minute, thanks to Itumeleng Tifo’s expert header from a Johannes Modise cross from the right wing.
The match went into the break 2-1 in favour of United.
The second half saw the home side continue the fight to extend their lead.
And when Tema won possession in the centre, passed to Malokane, whose powerful shot was parried back into play by goalkeeper Thapelo Nkoana in the 63rd minute and unmarked Tema rounded off the scoring from the rebound to give United a comfortable victory.
