‘Penis enlargement doctor’ arrested
“We urge other people who might have fallen victim to this man to contact the police.”
A man has been arrested in the CBD after allegedly conning his victim out of almost R200 000 in a penis enlargement scam.
Pretoria Central police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe said a 27-year-old man allegedly visited a “traditional doctor” at Bureau Lane Street’s Centenary Building in the CBD on Monday.
“He saw an appealing pamphlet on how this fake doctor can enlarge a penis within a short space of time. The complainant alleged that the suspect ended telling him that he can make him a millionaire whereby he ended up being conned of R190 000,” said Selepe.

“We urge members of the public [potential victims] to contact Constable Maselela Louisna Matsaong on 072-175-7674 to report such incidents. The Ugandan man might have conned many people,” said Selepe.
He will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of theft.
The investigation continues.
