NOTICE: Power interruption in Pretoria North

"We expect that power will be restored soon."

Residents in Pretoria North experienced a power outage on Thursday morning.

And this, ward councillor Yolanda Duvenage said, was due to maintenance work in Brits and West streets.

“It is a temporary power interruption,” said Duvenage.

“We expect that power will be restored to all homes by 15:30.

The power was turned off due to the cutting of trees and branches near power lines.

“As always, the safety of the city’s people takes priority.”

Duvenage said she would keep residents informed and updated on maintenance plans in the area.
