Residents must be extra cautious of smash-and-grab attacks at the Wonderpark off-ramp at the R80 highway, according to a Pretoria north community policing forum.
“Hide your cell phones out of sight and do not speak on your phone when driving because it makes you a target,” Natasja Richter from the Amandasig Action Group said.

This follows a recent attack in which criminals smashed a vehicle’s window and stole a couple’s laptop from their car seat at the off-ramp.
She advised residents to lock valuables in the boot of a vehicle and to not to keep them in the car where it can be spotted.
