A metro police officer was shot and killed at a KFC outlet in Lyttelton in Centurion on Wednesday evening.
It is alleged that Constable Mendo Yanta walked in on an armed robbery at the KFC in Cantonment Street.
Three suspects fled in a Hyundai i10 with a cash amount of R7 000.
