A suspected robber was shot dead in Wonderboom South on Wednesday evening.
Netcare 911 emergency service spokesperson Tebogo Magoro said the shooting happened in 11th Avenue, Wonderboom South just before 19:50.
“It is alleged that the man was shot while attempting to rob occupants of a vehicle,” he said.
“His accomplice fled the scene (after the victim was shot). When paramedics arrived on the scene, the man, believed to be in his 40s, was certified dead.”

Magoro said police were investigating.
