A man suspected of car theft was caught snooping inside a vehicle in Monument Park on Friday morning, said Hi-Risk security spokesperson, Arthur Crewe.
Crewe said the incident took place outside a shop on Lark Road and was spotted by security personnel.
“Our rapid response units were on the scene within seconds and caught the suspect red-handed inside the victim’s vehicle.”
“He tried to run but was caught and arrested near the scene,” Crewe said.

He said the man was found in possession of a purse that belonged to the owner of the vehicle as well as multiple car-jamming devices.
Police were called to the scene and the man was taken into custody.
“With this arrest, we believe a number of case dockets will be closed,” Crewe said.
