A man accused of dealing in drugs was denied bail by the Pretoria magistrate’s court on Friday.
The man was allegedly caught allegedly trying to sell drugs on Pretoria Street in Silverton on Tuesday, 6 February.
Police spokesperson Captain Jan Sepato said the man was found in possession of dagga worth R35 000.

“The man was spotted trying to sell dagga to a potential buyer and the police moved in on both,” he said.
“The potential buyer managed to get away, but police apprehended the alleged dealer.”
Sepato said police were still searching for the buyer. “We will go all out to ensure that we fight crime in our communities.”
The man remains in custody.
