A Hammanskraal man wanted for allegedly raping a goat has been found, dead.
Samuel Senwamadi (40) had been on the run since Sunday after he was found with his pants down, raping a goat in Stinkwater, Hammanskraal.

“The 40-year-old man was discovered busy having intercourse with a goat around 03:45 on Sunday,” said police spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi.
According to neighbours, Senwamadi asked for their forgiveness when he was caught and disappeared before the police arrived.
“The suspect was found dead yesterday at his house in Stinkwater New Stand. The cause of death is unknown. It is suspected that Senwamadi might have committed suicide,” he said.
Police were investigating a case of bestiality and an inquest docket was open, he said.

Senwamadi would have faced a charge of bestiality after he was reported for molesting a white goat.
A witness told police he was at home when he saw Senwamadi with his pants down behind a neighbour’s goat in the backyard.
When the witness opened his door to confront him, Senwamadi pulled up his pants and fled.
SPCA inspector Mishack Matlou said he was called by the goat’s owner Mischack Lekalakala to report his goat had just been raped.
“The owner told me the alleged rapist offered to buy him three goats for his silence on the incident,” said Matlou, adding he pressured the owner to press charges.
“We took the goat to the SPCA clinic for medical treatment. It is still recuperating. Once it has healed it will be handed back to the owner. We hope he will continue to take care of the goat,” said Matlou.
