A man was found murdered on a plot where he worked in Hammanskraal on Thursday evening.
The 26-year-old was allegedly found with injuries to his upper body.
Police said they suspected he was hacked to death with a panga.

“The police were called around 10:00 after the neighbour found a man in a pool of blood,” spokesperson Constable Herman Moremi said.
A neighbour alleged the plot owner had called the deceased to ask him to check on the house – also on the plot – but the man had not answered his phone.
“When the owner arrived at the house, he found the door forced open and the deceased on the floor,” Moremi said.

Gauteng police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini said the motive of the murder was unknown.
“No arrests have been made,” he said.
He confirmed a case of murder was under investigation.
