How much will your new licence disc cost?

The Gauteng government has published the road traffic amendment act bill on the provincial government gazette for comment.

The bill proposes vehicle registration and licence fees increases as follows:

1. Motor vehicle registration fees will increase to R180, from R170.
2. Licence fees for motor cycles, tricycles and quad bikes will increase to R204, from R192.
3. Other vehicle class owners will pay from R12 to R1 749 for the renewal of their licence discs
