The Johannesburg Flying Squad and Tracker nabbed a man in possession of a stolen vehicle in Woodmead, Sandton on Friday morning.
The vehicle had been reported stolen in Brooklyn recently.
Police spokesperson, Captain Granville Meyer said the man was a 29-year-old from Soweto.

The vehicle was located in the Sandton area by Tracker.
Meyer said the man continued driving ignoring an order to stop.
“A high speed chase ensued and the suspect later collided into vehicles in the morning traffic on Old Pretoria Road,” said Meyer.
A second car-occupant fled on foot.
Meyer said the police investigations continued.
“The suspect is detained and will appear in court soon.”
