A burglary at an estate in the Silver Lakes area was foiled through early detection equipment early on Wednesday.
Brinant Security Group spokesperson Stephen Wolmarans said motion cameras on the perimeters of the estate detected an intrusion around 01:00.
Response units were dispatched right away.
Upon their arrival, two intruders escaped.

A third was detected by the cameras while trying to gain entry inside the estate with burglary equipment.
Wolmarans said he was arrested and handed over to the Boschkop police.
Boschkop spokesperson Captain Marissa van der Merwe said a malicious damage to property and theft docket had been opened.
She commended Brinant Security Group for its efforts to corner the culprit.
