Tshwane University of Technology students have planned a march to protest the murder of a young Taxify driver.
Siyabonga Ngcobo, a TUT student, was found dead in the boot of his torched vehicle last weekend.
His death was believed to be linked to the ongoing turf war between Uber, Taxify and metered taxis.
Ngcobo was allegedly attacked by a group of men while picking up a customer in Arcadia.

Calling for meter taxis to be boycotted, the students said they would march under the #IRideWhatILike hashtag from 11:00 outside the TUT Arcadia campus.

A memorial service for the 21-year-old was due to be held in Centurion on Wednesday, while transport MEC Ismaeli Vadi was expected to visit his family.
“We want those criminals responsible to be arrested and to pay for what they did,” said family representative Melusi Mbanambi.
He said his nephew was suspected to have been burned alive in his car.

Funeral arrangements are on hold pending a post-mortem examination, Mbonambi said.
The suspects were still at large, police said.
