An elderly Centurion resident said hijackers used remote jammers to open her car doors and kidnap her.
Irene resident Susan Halloway (72) was waiting for her grandsons in her BMW outside a school in Doringkloof on Friday when she was suddenly ambushed by four thugs.
“Although my car was locked, four men with a gun remotely jammed it and opened the doors on both sides. They dragged me onto the floor at the back of my car with the gun to my head,” Halloway told Rekord.

The hijackers sped off in Halloway’s car with her still in it.
When her grandsons came out of the school, they spotted some of their grandmother’s personal belongings lying on the ground where her car had been parked.
The boys alerted the headmaster, who in turn phoned Halloway’s family.
When the hijackers stopped after a while, Halloway thought it might be the end of her ordeal and that they would let her go.
However, the hijackers merely switched cars and forced her into a different car.
Battered and bruised, Halloway said the thugs pinned her to the car’s floor with their feet even after switching vehicles.
“It was quite an ordeal, forcing me down with their feet,” she said.
She said her hijackers could listen in on the police’s radio frequency and learned of the police helicopter and units on the ground.

They panicked and tied her hands, removed her shoes and dumped her inside the Zion Christian Church grounds in Mamelodi.
“I walked around until a very kind man picked me up in his car and phoned my husband,” she said.
Her car was traced to Mamelodi but has not been found yet, according to police spokesman Captain Dave Miller.
Residents were urged to keep a look out for a red BMW with registration number CC-45-GH-GP.
