The Wierdabrug police, with the help of Tracker, arrested two people for possession of a stolen vehicle.
Spokesperson, Captain Agnes Huma said the suspects were arrested in Alexander in Johannesburg.
She said the two held up the owner of the Ford Figo at gunpoint in The Reeds, Centurion, on 19 February, demanded the car keys then sped off in the car.
According to the complainant, he had parked outside his front gate to quickly go into the house and when he returned to his car, he was accosted by the two.
“The police traced the vehicle with the assistance from Tracker.”
Huma said the suspects, aged 31 and 45, would appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.

She urged residents to act more responsibly with regards to their personal property.
“Even if residents need to quickly pop into their homes, it is advised that they park their vehicles inside their properties, behind locked gates, before entering the house. And when they need to leave again, they must ensure there are no suspicious people around, before leaving the premises.”
