A 43-year-old man was arrested for being in the possession of drugs in Hercules on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said the Tshwane west policing cluster drug team had been following up information about the man suspected of being involved in criminal activities.

He said the suspect was spotted along Bremer Road near R80 highway around 10:00.
“During the police search, he was found in possession of 18 packets nyaope, seven packets of crystal meth, cash and dagga,” he said.
He said the drugs confiscated were worth more than R2 000.
About R700 was allegedly found on him.
Moloto said a case of possession of drugs was opened at the Hercules police station.
