Wierdabrug police arrested three men on Tuesday for stealing a bakkie in Valhalla, Centurion.
The three men – aged 23, 24 and 31 – were spotted tampering with a white Mahindra bakkie by residents in Alaric Street.

The residents contacted the police when the men drove away with the bakkie, said police spokesman Constable Tumisang Moloto.
“The suspects were arrested following a high-speed chase and were cornered at Flora Street,” said Moloto.
Police are investigating a case of theft of a motor vehicle.
The three suspects will appear before the Pretoria magistrate’s court soon, according to Moloto.
