Laudium man caught with illegal medicines, drugs

The medicine was used to mix drugs.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested after being caught allegedly in possession of drugs and illegal medicine in Laudium.

Police spokesperson Constable Simon Chokoe said the arrest came after a tip-off from the members of the community on Tuesday.

“The suspect was found in possession of drugs and illegal medicine such as broncleer boxes containing 50x100ml bottles each box. The medicine used in mixing of drugs,” he said.

Chokoe said the total value of the medication was unknown.

“The suspect will appear in the Pretoria magistrate’s court soon.”
