A police inquest has been opened after the suspected suicide of a 65-year old man in Centurion.
Police received a call about a shooting incident in Clubview, Centurion on Sunday afternoon at around 16:30, according to police spokesperson Mavela Masondo.
When they investigated, the man was found lying on the floor, with a firearm next to him.

The man was taken to hospital by paramedics where he later died.
“Police investigations are continuing,” said Masondo.
