Centurion explosions nothing to worry about

The explosions are happening at the dolomite mine in Lyttelton.

Concerned residents from Centurion recently took to social media after hearing numerous explosions in the area.

However, they were quickly assured that it was nothing to worry about.

According to Monitor Net, the explosions are happening at the dolomite mine in Lyttelton.

“We have been receiving reports all day,” they said.

Residents have been hearing the explosions as far as Irene.

The Lyttelton dolomite mine, which is about 4.22 kilometres long, is used to mine sand and stone.
