A swift response by a local security company has thwarted two suspected thieves from fleeing the scene with their loot.
On Sunday afternoon, a witness and Garsfontein resident tipped off Brinant Security Group security guards to a break in in progress at a skate park in Serene Street .
The officers rushed to the scene and apprehended two people with a backpack full of suspected stolen electronics and clothes.
The suspects were handed over to the Garsfontein police and the goods returned to the rightful owner, according to Brinant.
