Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a couple in the Magalies estate, north of Pretoria, at the weekend.
A media report said the couple – Robert and Jacqueline Mokoka – were found with gunshot wounds and that they died on Saturday evening.
“They were found inside their home on Monday at about 10:00,” police spokesperson Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said.

“Both victims had bullet wounds in their upper bodies,” he said.
The 9mm pistol used in the double murder belonged to one of the deceased.
Dlamini said a murder docket had been opened.
