VIDEO: 6 injured when bus drives into people at Bosman station

The bus was off-loading passengers from Zimbabwe.

Six people were injured after an Intercape bus drove into commuters who were waiting at the Bosman bus station in Pretoria.

The accident took place on Monday at 05:48, while the bus – on its way from Zimbabwe – was off-loading passengers at the station.

In a statement, Intercape said 50 passengers and two drivers were on board the bus at the time of the incident.

Intercape confirms five passengers and the driver were injured.”

They said senior Intercape officers were on site and helped the injured passengers and their families.

“Three passengers were taken to the hospital and subsequently discharged on the same day,” they said,  adding the accident was being investigated by “appropriate authorities”.

The company said they would do whatever it takes to assist the passengers during this difficult time.
