Sunnyside police have launched a manhunt following a shooting that left a man dead on Friday morning.
It was believed the victim (44) was attacked by two men on Troye Street, Sunnyside shortly after he had dropped off his brother, Sunnyside police spokesperson Captain Daniel Mavimbela said.
“Reports suggest the suspects had been trailing the victim in a white VW Polo prior to the shooting,” he said.
Mavimbela said the motive behind the killing was yet to be determined.

A case of murder is being investigated.
