A man, from the west of Pretoria, charged for the murder of his mother appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court today.
This after he was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning in Danville, according to police spokesperson Constable Sibongile Vuma.

It was alleged that, after the man murdered his mother, he knocked on the windows of tenants, who was also renting on the same property, to inform them of the murder.
Police previously told Rekord that the woman had multiple face wounds.

She was certified dead on the scene.
In a previous statement, police said the alleged killer was not related to the victim.
