Moot police want to return two Volkswagen car wheels and some plastic chairs to their rightful owners, they said.
This after they recently arrested five suspects for being in the possession of the stolen goods in question.
“We are unfortunately unable to track down the owners of the stolen goods,” said police spokesperson Captain Anton Breedt.
“We urge anyone with information to contact us.”
The five suspects have appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on charges of theft and being in possession of stolen property.
The case was, however, postponed for further investigation.

Breedt said residents should safeguard their property.
“Residents should take extra precaution when leaving their homes,” he said.
“Criminals use any opportunity to commit a crime.”
He said residents should always report crimes at the nearest police station, no matter how small.
“This way, we can easily track down owners if anything is stolen and we manage to find it,” he said.
